The hot buzz since last night certainly is the new Eclipse trailer. Eclipse , which is the highly anticipated sequel to the Twilight Saga is scheduled to open in June 30th this year. The trailer was aired on Oprah and introduced by Dakota Fanning who also plays one of the vampire in Eclipse, Jane.

Eclipse – a big disappointment to all except ‘Tweens. Every female in the movie had BAD wigs which was distracting. Millions of dollars and the best make-up people available in the world and every female had helmet head with doll-like hairlines. Even the men’s wigs were terrible. The editing was awful. The dialogue with Bella and Edward was horrible. Kristen Stewart’s idea of passion is to show dead eyes and gopher teeth. All these super hero monsters fighting over an awkard one-dimensional immature girl. “I’m different,” Bella says. What girl her age doesn’t feel that way? The books are a good read even though Meyer’s version of the vampire is a bit silly – their skin sparkles like diamonds? Silly. The problem with these popular books being made into movies is that the directors try to mimic the book. You can’t do that with books and movies. Scenes in books don’t translate the same way on the screen.
I loved your twilight eclipse post my friend, In my opinion I think that Eclipse was the best movie I’ve seen all year. Although it is clear to see that the movie goes by the same story line as the last two ( with tweaks ), that is what it’s supposed to do. Hello… its a sequel, that’s the whole point of a sequel-to pick up where something left off.
