Back in the 90s, Badrul Muhayat used to be one of Malaysia’s top actor. He’s not that good as an actor, but he did star in a few films. I haven’t seen him in quite a while and I guess he’s just one of those actors who fade into oblivion, but wahey, suddenly Badrul Muhayat’s name hit the local newspaper again!

Apparently his wife made a police report against him for hitting her. According to Julia Daud, his wife – she has been suffering since marrying him 4 years ago. According to a report by mStar, Julia has went to the religious department office and in the process of getting divorce from her abusive husband.

Really Badrul Muhayat, you not only fade into oblivion, but you have just  fall from grace. What a pitiful way to do it by being a wife beater.

Have you ever lied in your CV when applying for job? Well consider yourself lucky if you have and have not get caught.

Rhiannon MacKay Plymouth, Devon, UK has been caught lying on her CV where she claimed that she has two A-Levels and she even got the job and worked for one year before getting busted! According to the Daily Mail:

Rhiannon Mackay, 29, wrongly claimed to have two A-levels when she applied for a £23,000-a year-role as a ‘capital projects administrator’.

Ms McKay submitted a resume claiming she had two grade Bs for the job which required all applicants to have at least two A-levels.

Ms Mackay, who was unemployed, was then shortlisted and asked to provide a reference from her previous employer, the Royal Navy.

She then forged the letter of recommendation and signed it using the name of her boyfriend, a chief petty officer.

She beat several other candidates in a lengthy interview process and was awarded the job, which she held for over a year.

But suspicions were raised about her performance and she admitted lying on her CV when challenged by her bosses.

It’s bad enough to get fired from a job after her employer found out she’s not performing at work and has been lying on her CV along, but the situation got worse when she found herself jailed for 24 weeks which equals to 6 months!

Well, I hope she learns her lesson – though quite in a hard way. But then if she’s been performing at her work, then no one will know that she’s been lying on her CV right? Too bad, Miss Mackay.

Some people have the weirdest fetish. It is not unusual to hear stories about perverted men who gain pleasure by flashing their private parts in public or grab women’s boobs during bus rides, but Nitinkuma A. Patel took one step too far.

Apparently, this guy gets off by peeing on the legs of young women! Based on the police report, he actually peed on 7 women, all Hispanics from the age 16-25 at New Jersey. His modus operandi is usually the same. He will run up behind his victim, pull down his sweatpants and happily pees away.

My goodness, isn’t that one of the most disgusting thing ever! I even nearly puke while typing this. Urgh!

She’s not only a fashion prodigy since she started sewing at the age of 6, but she is also designing with a huge conscience and many of her dresses are made from old repurposed clothing. Hey, hey look who’s coming back to Malaysia! It’s Zee Avi!

The first person who introduced me to Zee Avi was my husband and I actually found her malay song ‘Kantoi’ kinda annoying! But then for some reason her other song, Bitter Heart actually makes me not so bitter and I found out I like her wispy voice, so I started to be her fan. She’s a little bit like Colbie Caillat because she was ‘found’ online at YouTube by Patrick Keeler of The Raconteurs who passed the link to Ian Montone, the manager of The White Stripes. She’s currently residing in the US since she’s signed with Burshfire Records – a record company that is also partly owned by Jack Johnson. And what’s cooler, she even toured with Pete Yorn last year!

Guess what, thanks to Air Asia, she will be performing in KL this coming 20 March 2010. Unfortunately, I read somewhere that the tickets for her show in KL has sold out, but fret not you still have another chance to watch her perform live for free!
